As an honorably discharged veteran, you are entitled
to certain burial benefits.
Among them are:
- Burial in a VA national cemetery, should you wish.
This option is open to your spouse and children as
well. (To verify your eligibility, phone a veterans
benefits counselor at 1-800-827-1000. Additional information

- A burial flag, to drape the casket and as a keepsake
for your family.
- A burial marker, indicating your military service.

If you are collecting Social Security, you are also entitled
to a Social Security Burial allowance. Currently, the amount
